Prosecutors enforce the law, but they should not be above it.  In a 1935 ruling in Berger v. United States, the U.S. Supreme Court broadly defined how a prosecutor should behave:

"He may prosecute with earnestness and vigor — indeed, he should do so. But, while he may strike hard blows, he is not at liberty to strike foul ones. It is as much his duty to refrain from improper methods calculated to produce a wrongful conviction as it is to use every legitimate means to bring about a just one."

The Wisconsin Circuit Court did more than strike blows, they did everything in their power to destroy the life of an innocent man.
With documented misconduct in a court of law, prosecutors rarely face any  consequences, even repeat offenders. Prosecutors are also afforded unique legal protections, but where does that leave the American People?
