He stated he then drove to Zach's house, but Zach was not there (because he was already in custody). Josh stated Sadie jerks Zach around with custody and that they have been off and on for years. He stated Zach still loves Sadie but doesn't get sad over her. He stated Sadie had a new boyfriend and Zach told him he was not a decent guy and he was not too keen on the guy. He stated that because Sadie had a new boyfriend, Zach went for custody. He stated he thought Sadie would have been served court paperwork but that Sadie currently had full custody of the kids. He stated Zach had been distant lately with everything going on and that he hadn't met Zach's new girlfriend. He stated Zach and Sol did a lot of work together and the three of them are pretty close, with him often acting as mediator between Sol and Zach when they argued. He stated Zach has back issues but is still able to do labor work. He stated Zach isn't the best at lifting and when their grandmother passed away 1 month prior, Zach didn't do much of the heavy lifting. He stated he did not observe any injuries on Zach recently. He stated he last saw Zach on 05/16/2020 at the farm, with Zenith, their dad, and Zach's kids. He stated he did not talk to Zach on 05/17/2020.

Josh was interviewed again and identified himself as the co-owner of Anderson Greenview Tree Farm, with his father, Barry. He stated he knew officers were interviewing him because Sadie's new boyfriend was missing. He stated everything he knows he has gotten from the media. He states Zach had mentioned Sadie dating someone and that Zach had used the WI CCAP website to get his background. He stated he last spoke to Zach on 05/19/2020 and they talked about fixing the house. He last saw Zach on 05/16/2020 when they met at his tree farm to plant trees. Josh stated he was familiar with a recent incident involving Zach's daughter and that police got involved. He stated Zach had injured his back while working for AT&T and that Zach is unable to do any heavy lifting. He stated he knew about the size of Sadie's missing boyfriend because he read it in an article and that the incident is all over Facebook, but he had never met her boyfriend in person. He stated he last was at Zach's home on 04/25/2020. He identified Zach's vehicles and stated he never used the minivan. He confirmed he knew Zach to have a chainsaw at his house. He stated he had never been to Kenosha and never had any conversations with Zach about going to Kenosha. He stated Zach loved Sadie but wasn't able to live with her. He stated the final straw of the relationship was when Zach gave Sadie money to pay for daycare and she used it to go to Mexico. He stated the last fire he had at the tree farm was 05/08/2020 and he called the Sheriff Department advising them of the burn beforehand. He stated since then, his father had been throwing things in the burn pit. Josh outlined the various tractors at the farm and stated he has no firearms.

    Anderson, o

OA stated that on 05/16/20 Zach took her and her brothers to the Anderson Greenview Tree Farm and they left at about 4:30pm. She stated they were at the farm for 2-3 hours and also present were Josh & Zenith. She stated that Zach never took the chainsaw out of the back of the van. She stated at the time Zach was wearing jeans, a white T-shirt, and a blue and white flannel that he wears all the time. She stated she believed the flannel was insulated. He stated that his brother, Joshua Anderson, had told him on Tuesday that Zach was arrested after two men showed up at his house saying they were looking for him. Solomon stated he was concerned because Sadie had previously mentioned sending members of an unknown biker gang after Zach in the past. He confirmed the vehicles Zach owns and stated he hasn't driven Zach's van in over a month. Solomon stated he was told the missing person was 6'4" and 300 lbs from Josh. Solomon stated Zach wouldn't be able to move a person that size because of his bad back. Solomon mentioned an incident with Zach and Sadie's daughter recently, and that he was able to talk Zach out of involving themselves and allow the police to handle the situation. She stated she also spoke with Sadie at the party and Sadie asked her if she knew anything about Zach stalking her but Zenith knew nothing. She stated Sadie denied having a boyfriend and it was only after the boyfriend went missing that Sadie brought up dating anyone to her. Detective Lorn Anschutz removed Zach's computer from evidence and reviewed the contents.

The first thing he observed was a word document entitled "Custody," which contained a log of events dating April 18th - May 19th, 2020. In it, Zach had documented information pertaining to interactions with Sadie, interactions with his daughter, what his daughter had been telling him, Sadie's behavior, and other issues pertaining to Sadie or the kids. Anschutz outlines in his report that nothing was written for the dates April 8 - 23, or April 26 - 30. All other dates had documentation. However, he does not mention in his report what is written for the dates of April 24th & 25th, starting his summary of the entry log on May 1. Any dates missing from the log did not have entries.

*Please note, these entries are currently summarized based on what is written in Detective Anschutz' report and will be revised as needed once the actual word document is obtained.

On May 28th, Kenosha PD officers responded to the residential property of Susan Brown-Williamson, after learning that Zach was doing work on the property and had access with a key. With Susan's presence and cooperation, officers conducted a walking search of both the residence and the 1.5 acres of land. Based on the walk-through, officers were able to confirm that the residence was currently under renovation. There were no immediate signs of evidence located and much of the land appeared undisturbed for a long period of time.

    June 2021

On June 17th, Quarry Lake was searched again using two methods. A small boat was deployed with side scan and down imaging sonar. This sonar provides a visual display of items on the lake bed. A Remote Operated Submersible Vehicle (ROV) was deployed from various shore locations. The ROV uses a combination of sonar and a camera to locate and identify sub-surface objects or items. A thorough search yielded no human remains or items of evidentiary value.
