I saw that some 11 year old boy got in trouble for making bogus threats to his school, or maybe to multiple schools, and that the local sheriff was on the news bragging about making the child do "the perp walk." It made me think of being taken to the hole at Dodge, where all the guards came out to watch me get "perp walked" down the main corridor. Then I was made to strip naked in front of numerous guards who eagerly oggled my junk. Not only do I see that people in positions of authority enjoy using their authority to abuse people, I also see this bizarre indoctrination to convince people that what they do is justified. I don't expect the 11 year old knew how serious his actions may have been, but attempting to traumatize a child does not make someone honorable. Was the boy so opposed to reasoned discussion or is it just easiest to control people with fear? I feel that... two wrongs don't make anything right.
