At about 9:12am, I am laying with my head toward the wall and not toward the tiny table. It allows me to prop my pillow up to read. The guard raps on my door to which I respond "What is it?" but she just walked away without responding. No inquiry to my well-being, as though that is the reason for her being disruptive. No testimony by me to indicate I am okay for her to eliminate that possibility. I would say most people who aren't okay can provide audible response. I hit the intercom button and asked the sergeant but she could not provide an answer about the guards behavior since my window is not obstructed. It is evident there must be a "if you see feet then harass" policy. The fiction it concerns the well being of an inmate is an absurd excuse to harass inmates.
Do you want to know what I was reading and thinking about? The courts employ a forfeiture rule to deprive unknowing defendants of their rights to constitutional protections supposedly assured to them by not only the Federal and State Constitutions, but also the oaths that lawyers, prosecutors, and judges promise to follow. When the defendants rights are violated or allowed to be violated, the court exempts the behavior/negligence by saying the defendant forfeited their right. I don't like it. The system is only as "good" as people who have all the incentive to lie. And when they lie then the prison system will do what it can to minimize your ability to recover from the damages of their scheme by limiting access to resources so severely it would take a decade just to review the relevant information to compose any argument. I definitely do not see the system as impartial. I don't see it as coincidence that I have the points to go to a medium security prison but am required to stay under these restrictions at a maximum security prison for three years which is the same as the statute of limitation to bring lawsuits.
