We are Zach's family and we're asking for your help.
On March 22, 2023, Zachariah Anderson was wrongfully convicted of stalking (two counts), first degree intentional homicide, and hiding a corpse in Kenosha, Wisconsin; he is currently serving a life sentence in prison as an innocent man.
You might ask yourself how something like this could happen? His guilty verdict was a true miscarriage of justice created by a multi-layer system of failures including a false accusation, a poor police investigation jaded by confirmation bias, a corrupt district attorney, a media campaign to taint the potential jury pool, a judge unfit to stand trial, and a handful of witnesses willing to perjure themselves for their own gain. All systems designed to protect and serve gobbled him up, stripped him of all ability to defend himself or maintain his innocence, and spit him out into a prison cell to waste away forgotten.
But they were mistaken; we won't forget. Zach has a family that loves him, friends that adore him, and a small gang of people now working toward righting the wrongs that our criminal justice system created. Although they have already made Zach another statistic in the ever-growing pile of wrongful convictions, we refuse to stop fighting until he is once again a free man and those responsible for his wrongful conviction are held accountable. That will be justice served.

Wrongful is a podcast created by a group of independent trial-watchers. Each was drawn in for their own reasons: one by the headline "Obsessed Ex-boyfriend Murder trial;" one by the dramatic testimony of Zach's daughter; one because it was being presided over by Kyle Rittenhouse's judge; and one because of TikToks accusing Zach and his attorney, Nicole, of flirting. Each left horrified with the outcome because, after watching gavel to gavel, they were all convinced he was not guilty. Shortly thereafter, they began to do their own independent research into the facts of the case. Listen as they breakdown the evidence, both seen and unseen, from an outsider's perspective on what may have really happened.
