I was completely shocked by the jury verdict. I watched from start to finish and thought I knew the verdict pretty early on. This case shows that this could literally happen to anyone and that is scary to me!!!! Prove me wrong that there wasn't any shady deals made behind the scenes!!!

I went into this trial knowing nothing other than what law crime called it the obsessed ex-boyfriend. Instantly I thought the trial was interesting because it was a lot of she said...well she said. The day that solidified for me the pure and utter heartbreak was the day that OA testified. I remember after that day I broke down crying. When I was her age my parents went through a terrible divorce and there was a lot of lies and manipulation as well. I felt so bad for her I knew that she was going to have a long road ahead of her and that broke my heart. After the guilty verdict was red I was physically sick I couldn't believe what they had done to this just regular man. How could they do this to a person? He was so clearly innocent of this crime! I was outraged sad and honestly sick to my stomach at the judicial system. I want to write this wrong and I also want to see that it never happens again.

When I heard the prosecution incorrectly restating what witnesses said, I knew the states case had holes. Statements were repeated with added falsehoods and fictitious scenarios to fit the prosecutors needs. The real shock for me was the judge allowing more hearsay, opinion and untruths than actual evidence. Our justice system is imploding.

One evening I was browsing YouTube and suddenly stopped at a live broadcast from a courtroom. I was shocked, because in my country this is not allowed. One look at Zachariah Joseph Anderson was enough for me to realize that something was wrong here. There was a dubious person sitting in the witness stand and I thought, are defendant and said witness playing swap places? I stayed tuned and followed up on Zach's trial and I noticed the relatives of a father of three who seemed so lost on the visitors bench. Since then, one of the questions I've been asking myself is: is the DA in Kenosha corrupt? The prosecutor has presented a truly hair-raising story. I am proud to be a member of our community and fight for justice for a proven innocent man. The proper authorities, for whatever reason, have given up looking for Rosalio Gutierrez. Where has Rosalio Gutierrez remained? The relatives of Rosalio Gutierrez have a right to know what happened to Rosalio Gutierrez ... Love from Germany

I went into Zach's trial not knowing a thing about it. I watched it on L&C and was not in the chat. Zach's facial expressions caught my attention early on, because he looked confused, and shocked. I kept waiting for evidence to place Zach at Rosalio's, or Rosalio at Zach's. None of that happened. Trying to rename "other acts evidence" as "panorama evidence", to avoid proper channels for investigation of the claim was absurd. Multiple witnesses were coached, including Zach's daughter, and no one was investigated but Zach. I saw at least 5 other individuals who testified for the State, that I considered more likely to have committed the crime. Graveley made up a True Crime Novel, wrote the script, had people lie on the stand, manipulated the lack evidence to make Zach sound horrible. "Maybe" and "maybe like words", zero evidence, a jailhouse snitch, and only opinions with no proof of them being correct made me believe there was no way Zach did this. The guilty verdict made me physically ill. The corruption is deep, and with the confusion in how the State presented everything made it hard for anyone to follow. Zach's kids need him, and we need to get him out, and hope this never happens again. We won't stop until he is free!

I have watched other trials in the past but not many, I will, on occasion, check YouTube to see what trials are being aired. I happened across Zach's trial on the Law & Crime channel, but immediately, was not interested because of the label L&C titled the trial. I wasn't interested. However, being the curious person that I am, I scrolled through their chat and was alarmed at how on day 1 of a trial the majority of the chat had already sealed his fate. I decided then to watch just to be the person in the chat to try and make people realize that a person is INNOCENT unless he/she is PROVEN guilty. And to share my views on the evidence presented by both sides each day. And I did. What I witnessed was a judge too old to conduct a trial, a prosecutor (and his co-counsel) who had a personal interest in getting a conviction, and a defendant's counsel who was blocked at every attempt to present a defense. There was so much reasonable doubt that I was surprised that this case even made it to trial. IMO, when a prosecutor has to have a minor child (coached) testify against his/her own parent, use witness tampering, and jail house snitches, it's because he/she does not have a case. There was absolutely ZERO facts/evidence that proved Zach's guilt. I could pick apart every single piece of evidence and witness from Zach's trial and tell you my opinion of why it doesn't prove guilt, but that would take many many many pages.

I watched on Law&Crime from day 1 from Switzerland and I had seen a lot of trials in the past. The defense's opening made me suspicious, so I followed the trial, not knowing anything about the case. I was shocked by the verdict. There was just no evidence and how the Judge allowed everything from the shady prosecution in was outstanding. I had not seen anything like that before. The investigation, if that can be called an investigation at all, the manipulation of witnesses, all the leading from the prosecution, changing testimony, DA making himself a witness, all the hearsay, no real DNA experts and a lot more. The DA should be disbarred and for the judge it's time to retire. Over half a year later and I still can't rewatch the verdict, knowing what Zach has gone through and is still going through. It makes me sick to my stomach. No jurors giving interviews, not that it would make a difference but Zach having to speak for himself at sentencing. I could go on and on. Everything feels so wrong. Can't wait to see this wrongfulness being overturned on appeal. All the maybe's in closing. This case should have never been brought to trial, it was just about power and corruption. With what I learned after the trial, from the beginning Zach never stood a chance for a fair and unprejudicial trial with all the people somehow being involved.

I came across Zachs case while scrolling through YouTube. I have watched live trials alot. Mostly high media coverage, most recently The murdauch trial and of course Johnny Depp, However I hadn't heard much about the case so I decided to tune in. I was already a week behind but I immediately became sucked in on the first day I started. I could not believe the circus I was witnessing. When court adjourned for the day I would go back and rewatch what I had missed so I was caught up.
I will say I have never seen so much prosecutorial misjustice in my entire life. The blatant lies from the state, the amount of hearsay the judge allowed, the complete lack of evidence pointing anywhere near Zach is beyond petrifying to anyone who believes they are "free." I will admit- I did have to go back and watch the DNA testimony twice. And that blew my mind. The way the state had that so twisted around and purposefully projected it to the jury to confuse them should be illegal- if any one single juror was not paying super close attention they would miss some very important information. Information that should have had Zach walking out of the courthouse a free man.
The hearsay allowed in this case is also another problem, the jail house snitch, the plan B Sadie and Rosalio had for Zach, the lack of ANY type of proper investigation by the Kenosha police department- all it took was a scorned ex girlfriend going through a custody battle and pointing the finger at her ex (Zach), but most of all- there is NO proof this man is deceased. None. There's alot of "maybes" that the state made in their closing arguments- but they are just that- maybes- and maybes aren't proof. The state definitely did not meet they burden of proof. Not even close. I could go on and on.
I have never seen a man whom I believe to be 100% innocent get his life stolen from him and his kids left without a father- I am beyond confident that Zacharia Anderson is an innocent man, betrayed by our system.
This man needs to be home. He needs to be with his children who need their loving father. And although I do not know him personally, I seen a grown man nearly fall apart when his daughter spoke at sentencing. This man needs his daughter and she needs her daddy. The same for his two boys. It's time to put this nightmare to rest and bring Zacharia home where he belongs.

Despite the negative media reporting, I went into the trial a blank slate and wanted to let the evidence speak for itself. What I witnessed was something that stuck with me and rocked me to my core. Our legal system was set up to protect us and to ensure everyone gets a fair trial. To see someone have their life taken away and locked away from their loved ones on a series of "maybes", "possibilities", and prosecutor manipulations, my faith in that system was broken. If we don't stand up for someone who is victimized by this system, who will stand up for us or our loved ones in the event that this happens to them?

I had just got done watching another trial when I tuned into law and crime network and there was Nicole giving her opening statements. Imo she was very confident and it was at the part where Schroeder was over ruling the DA's objection and I felt that the case was going to be an easy win. The more I watched I couldn't believe all the twists and turns. The long pauses from Shrouder and some of the things he was saying (imo) were absurd. Then I saw Zach and I thought there's no way this man can did this. The more I watched the more unbelievable it became! I think Zach's case was mishandled in many ways. Especially the fact that Gravely had Nettie and OA change their statements!! And I've never seen a DA have to leave the court room because he became a witness. That right there should have been a mistrial imo. Too much shady sh!t went on. TOO much! Am off then Graveley nothing the words to Munch like wtf? A complete circus. Imo. Allegedly. lol

I stumbled across this trial on day 11 with OA on the witness stand, referring to Zach as the defendant. I had never heard a child use that verbiage. So I stopped watching and went back and started from the beginning. I saw a shady fit throwing DA, a woman who can't remember what map she's using, a divisive ex, a prison snitch, so much perjury, tons of opinions, an a defendant, expressive, hurt, confused. This case had innocent written all over it. To my surprise the jury came back opposite. Who knew lack of evidence was all the evidence that was needed. This isn't justice. Justice was not served that day and if this is the precedent set fourth, I am fearful of what the future looks like for all of us!

I took an interest in this case because I'm from kenosha born and raised and I also watched the jensen trial for the same reason..As I started watching I realized my nieces husband was the sheriff guarding Zach and one of the witnesses was a person who was involved in a horrific accident that had taken a life of someone close to me..So of course all eyes were on the trial from day one. I felt sorry for rosalios family and deep compassion for both sides. As I watched the DA spin the story in so many ways I became suspcicious. Judge Schroeder seemed to be not even paying attention . Between ahhh and ummmms and objections. I suddenly found myself thinking this poor man Zach Anderson does not have a chance. Witness after witness for the state seemed to be nervous and coached. Remember if you tell the truth its easy to remember. Nobody seemed to remember key questions. The more days that went by the trial seemed to to get even more shady exactly how the witnesses were .SHADY...I called my nephew in town who is a lawyer for an honest opinion. His response. Its a SHIT show of a trial and there is no evidence in my opinion to find this man guilty..end result ..this poor man was framed by a narcissistic DA who wanted his last win and also a judge that was NOT competent to take on his last case!!!! #freezachariahanderson

I first learned of Zachariah Anderson while mindlessly scrolling through TikTok. The viral video in which he (allegedly) shushed his daughter, while she was testifying, came across my feed. While I immediately felt anger toward him due to my own childhood experiences, I decided to watch the daughter's testimony, in its entirety. It didn't take long for me to see a different story and feel confused by what was happening in that courtroom. Especially since I had been called for jury duty that same year for a capital murder case. I didn't get chosen to serve on it, but I did spend 2 whole days attending a lengthy jury selection. I learned a lot from that quick experience about the burden of proof as well as the automatic, preconceived notions people (potential jury members, often even only subconsciously) have towards the accused. Several people in my fellow jury pool admitted the burn should be on the defendant, in their eyes. That should scare you. If there's anything I've learned in life it's that there's always 2 sides to every story and the truth usually lies somewhere in between. While I didn't have all the facts, I was determined to find the "other side". I felt strange when I couldn't find a single thing about him, except for the stupid catchphrase his case had been given by MM. I dove deep and very quickly bc I felt so strongly that all the facts weren’t being presented. I was so sure he was going to be found “not guilty” that I actually felt ill when I saw the verdict. It didn’t sit right with me, at all. I continued my deep dive-aware of the possibility that I could be wrong, immediately found the FZA group, and started writing Zach-something that was extremely out of character for me but that’s how sure I was in my gut. Through those things, I’ve been able to see even more clearly what a circus that trial was. I implore anyone else, who believes in the right to a fair and just trial, to take a closer look at this case. Watch some of the interviews with Solomon (Zach’s brother) and Zenith (Zach’s sister). Listen to some of the amazing lawyers in our group break down the fundamental flaws in this trial on some of their streams. Join the podcast some members put together breaking his case down, called “Wrongful”. Explore the website, especially the evidence and unseen evidence portions. Watch the trial, if you have lots of time to spare. Buy a tshirt or donate to the Give Send Go campaign raising money for his appeal. Reach out to any of the amazing members of the group if you have questions. Send him a letter. Write to the Wisconsin Attorney General (easy to follow directions are under the “how to help” tab on the website-just sign and send). Sign the petition (also under the “how to help” tab). Share Zach’s story and website with your lawyer, true-crime, and podcast friends/favorites. Share on social media. I am certain if you go into it with an open mind, you will find, at the very least, enough issues and flaws to cause reasonable doubt. If you look enough into it, you will likely become outraged by what went down in (and out of) that Kenosha court room and jail. The man is a father of 3 kids. 3 kids who need and deserve a dad. While he is not perfect and has made choices I’m sure even he’s not proud of, he’s human. He possesses the capacity to learn from his mistakes and he’s spent 3 years reflecting on all of those things already. He is no different than you or me or any of our loved ones. I consider myself a very responsible, reputable person but even I could be labeled a “monster” if every single poor choice I had EVER made was used against me, instead of focusing on/proving my connection to the actual crime, just like was done to Zach. Justice is supposed to be fair. There has to be order. Moral integrity is a must. We can’t let those in power and with all the financial means in this world railroad its average, working class citizens. Let’s help his family right this wrong and get those kids their dad back. “ #freezachariahanderson

I'm from Scotland and the USA justice system intrigues me, I have watched many trials including Zach's each one has always had a guilty verdict and I agreed with it. I watched this case with an open mouth and was convinced this would be returned as not guilty there was no incriminating evidence. The guilty verdict really confused me how the jury could find him guilty with the complete lack of anything incriminating. I still ponder over this case and so glad I have found this group and hope to see Zach walk free one day sooner rather than later.

The justice system failed here on so many levels. I've seen so many cases through the Innocence Project, and it's frightening we live in a society where innocent until PROVEN guilty mean very little given the right amount of corruption, bias and greed for power.

I didn't know anything about this case until I was watching the sentencing live. When Zach walked into the room, I got a strange feeling that something was wrong (without hearing a word of what was going on first). When the judge didn't allow any statements from Zach's family or friends, I was convinced something was horribly wrong. I have been searching out interviews with Solomon and now want to go back and watch the trial. I am convinced Zach was screwed over and it makes me ill. Not only should the trial be overturned, but the judge and prosecuting attorneys should be dealt with (legally of course, which wasn't what chance they gave to Zach).

I watched the entire trial on RAs channel and was in shock at the guilty verdict. I had expected not guilty based on the lack of evidence, which I felt left plenty of reasonable doubt. I was appalled at the Judge's behavior throughout the trial, as well as during the sentencing hearing. His treatment of Zach and the Anderson family was hard to watch. My prayers go out to the Anderson family.

Also watched the trial with legal vices. My thoughts are very similar to his. I've watched many trails on my own or with other YouTubers. Something about this one will always stick with me. Personally feel like he's 100% innocent....BUT even if did not feel that way....there is not enough to find him guilty in this case... it's gut wrenching.

I watched the trial on you tube, here in Scotland, UK. Couldn't believe the behaviour of the DA, and the lack of consistency, and control, as well as unreasoned decision making, of the judge astounded me. The continual unethical, biased and unreasonable objections by the DA to throw the defence curveballs and interruptions at every element of their case, and the judge's procrastination and whimsical approach to making decisions was outrageous. When I first started watching after seeing the blatantly biased title on the stream "obsessed ex boyfriend" I thought oh this is going to be a nasty ex man who's going to look like an angel in the court and try to get away with it..... but not 1 hour into it quickly I got to the point of how can this possibly be a genuine case against Zach! I was horrified that this case could even have got to court never mind that zach could have been found guilty. It was clear to me that this was a scorned woman, playing men off each other, acting the innocent party and manipulating her child against her father in order to win a custody battle. Clearly punching above her weight in their marriage, and the worst actress I've ever seen, acting like the poor widow made me furious every time I saw her smug face on the screen. Solomon, your interview on legal vices was fantastic, your articulation and explanations of background to various parts was exceptional. I'm still stunned and outraged by this verdict. I will be making sure to draw as many people's attention to this case as possible. I'm so saddened that Zach has had to lose so many years of his life so far in this sham of a case and will have to suffer more waiting for the appeal. Keep fighting and know that there are people far and wide around the world support you all. Xxx

I feel so bad for Zachariah and your whole family! Such a miscarriage of justice. I watched my first trial - the Rittenhouse trial with Nick Rekieta and thankfully the jury got that one right. Found Legal Vices during those streams and watched your brothers trial thru his stream. Just astonished with the lack of evidence and the media's outrageous reporting of this trial. Makes you stop and think that wow this could happen to any of us or one of our family members. I hope you find a path to get this crazy verdict overturned! And continue to have all this support during this process.

Also watched the trial with Vices... absolutely gutted with the verdict... I've watched a few where i was shocked with the non-evidence used to persuade a jury but was just dumb founded at the level of absurdity the prosecution pulled off here. I stumbled across this case after Murdaugh's trial. I had no idea what it was about so I read L&C summary of the case (will ignore the click baiting title they gave to the case). Zach has been accused of murder, disposal of the body and stalking, and that sparked my curiosity. Also learned, Mr. Gutierrez was still missing so my thoughts were..."oh! this is interesting, a case with no body, so evidence must be overwhelming"! I'm still waiting... I started watching the trial expecting witnesses to give me all the "nitty gritty" of the case. There I was witness after witness grading their level of shadiness, and bs stories. Adding to that was the "pinhead size speck" of professionalism of the Judge, the DA, LEO, and the "experts" that forgot to bring their ethics. The testimonies were not adding up, felt they were taken out of a cheap detective series. This man is being railroaded by the state...
On the other hand, Zach's facial expressions were telling a different story, the confusion and hurt in his face felt honest and raw. It felt like he was the only one being truthful in court. Nothing was making sense in this case, where's all the overwhelming evidence that justifies this case; WHERE? But the worst was the gaslighting of DA Gravely during closing arguments, that evil man has in his hands the lives of so many people; LITERALLY!! He shattered my faith in the system. The clear use of power, position and authority to destroy a man's life for personal gain was evident. Up to this day I'm still unable to get rid of the sense of powerlessness, impotence and injustice that this trial has left. We all have heard the stories of people wrongfully convicted but witnessing it Is another ordeal. I keep praying for Zach's appeal to be successful and learn that he's free again. His kids deserve to have him present. I wholeheartedly believe he is innocent and this was an injustice!

I watched the trial with Jeff (Legal Vices) And Aussie Overlaw'd, one of three trials that really opened my eyes to our corrupt system, biased judges, juries that confict before they even sit down, it is horrible and terrifying. Not to mention the media one sided reporting. Went into it open minded and soon figured out they had nothing on your brother, but speculation. I was shocked by the quick verdict, clearly they were asleep for the trial and that jail house confession was a joke. My heart breaks for Zach and the whole family. Also remember some killer is out there living their life while innocent people like Zach are in jail.

I heard a little about this case from Legal Vices before he began streaming it. Most days I only half-listened while I worked around the house and taught my kids. The day that OA testified was when I started really paying attention. Seeing Zach's face while his only daughter testified against Zach, her first love, her DAD! Hearing the slimy DA tell her to call her own dad "the defendant" made me sick. My heart broke then and has not recovered. I feel so horrible that she was put in that situation and that what she said might have led the jury (12 idiots) to convict Zach of crimes that he didn't commit. Since the verdict, I've rewatched most of the trial - something I've never even considered doing with any of the other trials that I watched. But Zach's situation affected me so deeply, knowing that what the state did to him, could be done to anyone. Someone I love. We cannot stand by and allow this to happen. The DA and any witness who lied to convict Zach, as well as the jurors need to be held accountable for this injustice.
