About 8:45am, Jander says videos are out and witnesses are in. She explains that the video over the law library shows the librarian coming to the room and guys then getting up to leave. She says she watched it with a supervisor but that they (he) deemed it irrelevant. The librarian sends me back to my housing unit, and goes to my unit where cameras do not capture the space and confronts me whom I terminate the interaction when I learn she still hasn't located the missing legal books. What else she really wanted I can only suppose but it was all definitely orchestrated by her. But they said its irrelevant. About 12:05pm, Jander visits again and asks me for questions for the librarian. I give her some but tell her that I can't really write out all the questions without knowing what she will say or answer in the first place. She assures me that I will be allowed follow up questions at the hearing. I have been requesting legal access every day since I was brought to unit 18. About 5:30pm, the guard brings me a copy of the Adult Conduct Report and gets me all shackled up for legal access. The hearing is set for tomorrow morning, about eighteen hours away. I get taken to a room where a small computer is housed in some very durable looking plastic and steel box. The keyboard is somewhat dysfunctional where you have to hit some of the keys multiple times before it works. The trackball mouse is under a metal bracket next to the keyboard, both boxed under a plastic and metal shelf that is too narrow to write. Especially with my hands cuffed together and a nylon tether with a cuff attached to the cuffs on my wrists which are attached to a nylon tether that connects to a nylon belt wrapped around my lower rib cage. Less than an hour later, and without much of any decent progress, I am returned to my cell. Now they can claim and pretend I had legal access so I won't be able to argue that deprivation later on, but I don't see how it could possibly count. I try to write some motions on the hopes that common sense and reason might all be used to pursue the truth at the hearing.
