I see headlights speeding closer to me as I stand along the opposite side of a road but notice a little girl riding her bike in the same lane so I walk out into the lane so the driver can see me and is compelled to swerve around the little girl. The girl on the bike makes it to me in time for me to get her off the road before the car goes by. That's where I discover she was out looking for her sister who is just a baby in a basinette hidden in the bushes right next to us. I pick up the baby and tell both girls we need to go find their parents. The baby girl could use a diaper change but I cannot find a replacement diaper in her belongings. So, then I start evaluating what I may use as a substitute without being sure how long it will take us to find their parents, figuring that the parents may have gone away if the girls were left to wander away without anyone noticing. I am awakened by the call for morning count and have managed almost four hours of sleep.
Supercharged: Ancient Practices for Modern Happiness was originally broadcast September 28, 2018. I catch the parts that talk about how temperature and psychedelics create happier people. I also catch What Are Cells and Could They Be More. PBS brings some of the most interesting things for me to watch. I don't expect that is the sort of thing most everyone who reads this might appreciate but it is the sorts of programming that I enjoy. Drama, cops, court, talent shows, and game shows. News is just drama, cops and court. People really feed on this stuff.
