I dreamt I was in an apartment building at least three stories tall and working on drywall repairs. The owner was upset that I had removed some crown moulding where he had recently installed it new, but it wasn't fastened properly.
At 4:27am I am awoken to the audible beep of the guards baton at the checkpoint. Almost four hours! "Oh-oh-o, dreamweaver!" My range has rec at 8:00am and by the end of rec there is an ambulance pulling in the parking lot we can see through all the layers of fence. One of the other inmates says the stabbing yesterday was by an inmate who had previously stabbed two other inmates. He supposedly turned himself in after multiple homicides and told the judge to put him away for life because he is a killer. I wonder how much of stories like that are gross exaggerations but when he is on his third prison stabbing and has just recently tried to mutilate another inmates face, the supposed back-story sounds plausible. Since the "emergency count" happens over thirty minutes after the ambulance arrived, we presume it was another fight. Real medical emergencies would be quicker. At least, if it involved a guard it would. Inmates are not afforded urgency in anything.
